Returns Policy, Terms & Conditions

Payment:
Payment will be charged and taken in full at the time of placing the order when the service and process is deemed to have commenced, as transactions are processed within the same day/within 24 hours.

Refusal of service:

We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any individual or group. We also reserve the right to withold details on the reasons for refusing any such orders.

Despatch:
Orders are normally despatched within 1-5 working days of placing the order with delivery expected within 2 – 5 working days of despatch, however up to 18 days should be allowed to cater for peak periods. If an ordered item is found to be out of stock, we will inform the customer of this and offer the option of cancelling the order if the customer does not wish to wait for further stock to arrive.

Deliveries:
Deliveries are normally expected to be achieved within 2-5 days of despatch. We endeavour to adhere to these delivery estimates but these are always estimates. Any dates we specify for delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods and time is not of the essence. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Royal mail do not class a delivery as missing unless it has been overdue by 15 days.

In the case of a missing package, a refund will only be made once Royal Mail have fully investigated the situation.

Signature Required On Delivery:
All items sent by dc-media-zone.co.uk require to be signed for by you or a nominated person on receipt. If a delivery is attempted, but no one was available to receive or sign for an order, we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent delivery attempts. The delivery charges on the site relate to the first delivery attempt for the order.

IMPORTANT

Normally the postman will leave a card informing you that an attempt was made to deliver when you were out. The card will have details of how you can pick the package up from your local mail depot or arrange another more suitable delivery time. Either way, this must be done within 5 days of the first delivery attempt, otherwise the parcel is returned to us and we will have to charge you a further postal fee to resend the item back to you.

Cancellations:

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery.

To cancel an order, please email us for the returns address. Once we reply, please package the relevant item securely and send it to the address given with a note stating 'Order Cancellation' within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service as we will take no responsibility for damaged or lost mail when items are being returned. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. In the case of an opened, non-faulty order being returned, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee. In addition to this, your postal costs (both the original postage fee and any fees incurred by yourself in sending the product back to us will not be refunded).


Faulty Items:
The manufacturers guarantee that may have been provided will apply to all items found to be faulty after 7 days from receipt. Items found to be faulty within 7 days of receipt are to be notified by email to the website within 8 days of receipt, after which time they will be deemed to have been accepted. After 7 days, customers are required to contact the manufacturer directly for replacement or repair under the manufacturers warranty period that may have been provided.

Faulty Returns Authority:
Provided email notification is received as above, we will provide the customer with Returns Note Advice valid for 7 calendar days only and the method of return and return address as applicable. We will confirm the method required for return and will reimburse the relevant postage costs on confirmation that the product has been received by our product support team and is faulty. The faulty item and all accessories MUST be returned in its original packaging within 7 days of the Returns Note Advice being issued.

Only authorised returns will be accepted and they must go the to correct notified return address NOT the website site trading address.

Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault by our product support team you will be offered the one of following options:

- A replacement : this item will be shipped to you at our expense.
- A repair : the repaired item will be shipped to you at our expense. (Please note that once repaired the product is no longer eligible for replacement).
- A full refund provided the item has been verified faulty and is complete with all accessories in its original box and packaging.

If a returned product is deemed NOT to be faulty by our product support team then you will be offered one of the following options:
Return of the goods, the cost of re-delivery charged to you and no refund of original return postage.

Refund the invoice cost less any applicable delivery and collection charges provided the product is 'as new' and complete with all accessories in its original box and packaging. If the condition of the product or the packaging is poor then we reserve the right to impose a charge to cover re-packaging costs and any missing accessories will also be charged to you.

Please be aware you are responsible for ensuring the product is suitably packaged for return. The cost of any damage caused due to insufficient packaging will be charged to you. This charge will be a minimum of £3.00 and up to 25% of the purchase value whichever is the higher value. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange. The goods must be returned with all accessories, manuals and in the original packaging. It is therefore in your best interest to retain the packaging.

Non - Faulty Returns

If you are exchanging a product due to wrong product ordered, wrong size, wrong color, wrong type, etc., you will be charged our standard shipping costs to have the exchanged product shipped back to you. Exchanges are contingent upon product inspection once we receive it. Each product returned must be in its original condition and ready to go back on the shelf. This includes the item and its packaging. Please follow our guidelines below when returning a product.

Please contact us at admin@dc-media.co.uk for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number. The RMA number must be sent on  a note along with your name, what you are returning, daytime telephone number, and the reason you are returning the product. You should send this note with your returned item.

Upon Delivery:
Products are to be inspected on delivery for any damage, shortages or if the wrong product has been sent and is to be noted on any delivery documentation and notified by email to the website within 2 days of receipt.
Provided email notification is received as above, we will provide the customer with a Returns Note Advice number, method of return and return address as applicable.

On confirmation that the product has been received at our notified returns address, we will provide a replacement and reimburse relevant return postage costs.

No claim for damages, shortages or wrong products will be accepted after this 2-day period, as they will be deemed to have been accepted.

Proof of Posting and Delivery:
Customers are advised to obtain proof of posting and delivery when returning an item as the item has to be confirmed as received and faulty before any possible refund or replacement will be processed.

Unwanted Goods:
Orders will not be accepted for return if they are not faulty. We will not refund due to personal taste or because the customer "has changed their mind".

Typographical Errors:
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will refund the account charged with the amount applicable to the value of the incorrect transaction.

Availability of Goods:
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Information on the site detailing stock levels are not a guarantee of availability and is a guide only. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Risk:
As soon as the goods have been delivered to you, or your nominated person, you will be responsible for them. From the time of delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Changes To Terms and Conditions:
These Terms and Conditions are liable to change without notice. We reserve the right to unilaterally vary these terms and conditions from time to time. You should check and read the terms and conditions for any updates and or amendments. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions you should not use these services.
